Self-Adhesive Shower Seal Carrier - 3M VHB Tape, 800-2000mm

What this seal is

A clear self-adhesive carrier channel that lets you fit a shower seal where a standard push-fit seal simply won’t go. It arrives with pre-applied 3M VHB (very high bond) double-sided tape, so it sticks firmly to any flat surface — glass, tiles or frame — and because it mounts with tape rather than gripping the glass edge, it suits any glass thickness.

Once the channel is in place, you simply slide a T-shaped channel seal into the groove to close the gap. It’s commonly used along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, vertically on the glass upright, or on any other flat surface where you need to create a seal. Designed for straight glass only.

Choose your length

Four lengths are available: 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm. Measure the run you’re sealing and pick the nearest length at or above it — the channel cuts down easily at home, or add the Custom Cut option and it arrives trimmed to your exact size.

Why fit this seal

Seals where nothing else fits. No channel in the frame, awkward glass thickness, or a gap in an unusual spot — stick this carrier down and you’ve created a channel for a T seal wherever you need one.

Genuinely strong bond. 3M VHB tape is a very high bond adhesive, already applied to the channel — peel, press and it stays put.

Replaceable sealing blade. The T seal slides in and out of the groove, so when the blade eventually wears you replace just the seal, not the channel.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the length of the run you need to seal and the gap you need to close, and check the mounting surface is flat.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm — and the T seal you’d like to run in it.

3. Fit. Cut to length if needed, make sure the surface is clean and dry, peel the tape backing and press the channel firmly into place, then slide your T seal into the groove.
