What this support bar is

An adjustable telescopic support bar that holds and stabilises a shower screen, shower door or wet room panel made from 6mm glass. The square-profile bar clamps over the top of the glass using the spacers provided — no drilling into the glass — while the flat end screws to the wall, bracing the panel so it cannot flex or wobble.

Because the bar is telescopic, there is no tricky cutting and you always get a smooth, tidy finish: simply extend it to the distance between your wall and the glass and lock it in place with the grub screws. It adjusts to span any gap from 700mm to 1200mm.

Why fit this support bar

Steadies a wobbly panel. A single fixed panel or wet room screen can flex alarmingly at head height. Bracing it back to the wall removes the movement and the worry.

No drilling into the glass. The clamp grips over the edge of the glass with protective spacers in between — your panel stays untouched and the glass is protected from metal contact.

Telescopic, so it always fits. Anywhere from 700mm to 1200mm, the bar extends to the exact distance and locks solid with grub screws — no cutting, no rough ends.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6mm thick and measure the distance between the wall and the glass — it needs to fall between 700mm and 1200mm.

2. Adjust. Extend the telescopic bar to your measurement and lock it in place with the grub screws.

3. Fit. Screw the flat end to the wall, sit the panel in the clamp with the provided spacers protecting the glass, then tighten the screws to secure.
