Black Shower Threshold Seal - 24 x 8mm Water Barrier

What this seal is

A black soft-rubber threshold seal that creates a physical barrier water simply cannot pass — keeping it inside the confines of your shower, wet room or bath. It fixes down with any bathroom silicone, so it can go wherever the water needs stopping: along the floor of a wet room, on the edge of a bath, or across a shower enclosure.

It's especially useful where a wet room floor isn't sloped steeply enough to drain properly, or where a pivoting bath screen leaves an awkward unsealed section where the frame meets the glass — run the seal along the bath edge, either the full length or just spanning the width of the glass, and the leak stops. In an enclosure it can also work alongside an over-the-glass seal to make everything watertight.

Choose your length

Measure the run you need to protect, then pick the nearest length at or above it — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm — and trim it down at home. A custom cutting service is also available if you'd rather it arrived ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Stops water where nothing else can. Where a poorly sloped wet room floor or an awkward screen junction lets water creep out, a threshold seal simply blocks its path — protecting flooring and the rooms below from water damage.

Solves the pivoting-screen problem. If you've always struggled to seal the section where a pivoting screen's frame meets the glass, running this seal along the bath edge is the straightforward fix.

Simple silicone fitting. No drilling or specialist tools — a bead of ordinary bathroom silicone holds it exactly where you want it.

Cut to fit at home. Trim it to the exact run you need, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the run you need to protect — the full length of the bath, the width of the glass, or the section of wet room floor.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement from the four available, and trim to size.

3. Fit. Apply bathroom silicone, press the seal into the desired location and leave it to cure. That's it — a physical barrier the water can't pass.
