Black Wet Room Threshold Seal - 800mm to 2500mm

What this seal is

A rigid black acrylic threshold seal that creates a raised physical barrier water simply cannot cross. Bedded down onto a line of bathroom silicone, it keeps water inside the showering area — ideal for a wet room where the slope of the floor doesn’t drain water away quickly enough on its own.

It’s just as useful along the edge of a bath — run it the full length of the bath or just the width of your screen to seal that awkward spot where a pivoting screen’s frame meets the glass — or beneath a shower enclosure, working alongside an over-the-glass seal to make the enclosure fully watertight.

Why fit this seal

Keeps water where it belongs. A raised threshold stops water creeping out of a wet room, off a bath edge or under an enclosure, protecting flooring, skirting and the rooms below from slow water damage.

Three jobs, one profile. Wet room floors, bath edges under pivoting screens, and shower enclosures — the same simple barrier solves all three of the most common leak points.

Simple, permanent fix. One bead of everyday bathroom silicone is all it takes to fix it down — no drilling, no special tools, no specialist adhesive.

Cut to size at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for an exact fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the full run you need to seal — across the wet room opening, along the bath edge or beneath the enclosure.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement; it’s easy to trim down once it arrives.

3. Fit. Run a continuous bead of bathroom silicone where the seal will sit, press the seal firmly into place, and leave the silicone to cure before showering.
