What this seal is
A clear tapered seal for shower and bath screens with 4–6mm glass, made for the problem standard seals can't solve: an uneven gap. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the glass — no adhesive needed — while the soft, flexible fin below is tapered in height, running from 10mm down to 5mm along its 900mm length.
If the gap between the bottom of your glass and the bath or tray is wider at one end than the other, the tapered fin follows it — giving a consistent seal where a straight fin would either drag or leave a gap.
Choosing a tapered seal
Measure the gap at both ends of the glass. In most cases we recommend a fin between 2–5mm bigger than the gap you need to seal, and our tapered seals come in a number of sizes to accommodate any gap — please refer to the product diagrams for this seal's exact profile.

Why fit this seal
Solves uneven gaps. Screens and trays are rarely perfectly level — the tapered fin closes a gap that changes along its length, something no straight seal can do.
Stops leaks and protects floors. Even a small unsealed section at one end of the screen lets water onto the floor every shower — a properly matched taper keeps it all in the tray.
No adhesive, no mess. The rigid channel grips 4–6mm glass on its own and comes off cleanly with no residue.
Nearly invisible once fitted. Clear PVC blends into the glass, so the fix doesn't spoil the look of your screen.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick and measure the gap at both ends of the screen.
2. Choose. Pick a taper with a fin 2–5mm bigger than your gap, checking the product diagrams for this seal's profile.
3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass with the deeper end of the fin over the wider end of the gap.
