Tapered Shower Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Fin 25mm to 20mm, 900mm

What this seal is

A clear tapered shower screen seal for 4–6mm glass, designed for the awkward situation where the gap under your screen is uneven. The rigid PVC channel pushes straight onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive needed — while the soft flexible fin tapers in height from 25mm down to 20mm along its length, closing a gap that widens or narrows between the bottom of the glass and the top of your bath or tray.

If your bath screen or shower door leaks at one end but not the other, a standard straight-fin seal will never sit right. A tapered fin follows the slope, sealing the full width of the screen in one piece.

Which taper do I need?

Measure the gap at both ends of the glass. In most cases we recommend a fin between 2–5mm bigger than the gap you need to seal — the flexible fin compresses for a tighter seal. This profile tapers from 25mm to 20mm; our tapered seals come in a number of other sizes, so if your measurements fall outside this range, get in touch and we'll point you to the right one. Why fit this seal

Seals uneven gaps properly. A gap that tapers from one end of the screen to the other is the classic cause of a persistent leak at just one corner — this fin follows the slope and closes it along the whole edge.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 4–6mm glass on its own, so it slides straight on and can be removed without leaving residue.

Cut to fit at home. The 900mm length trims down easily, or choose the custom cut option and it arrives ready to fit.

Nearly invisible. The clear PVC blends in with your glass once fitted, so the fix doesn't spoil the look of the enclosure.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick and measure the gap at both ends of the screen.

2. Choose. Confirm the 25mm–20mm taper covers your gap — aim for a fin 2–5mm bigger than the gap itself.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the bottom edge of the glass with the fin facing the bath or tray. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
