Tufnol Whale Sheet

Phenolic laminate whale grade sheet is a high-performance engineering material offering excellent mechanical strength, good electrical insulating properties and stability in demanding environments. Manufactured from layers of resin-impregnated substrate, it delivers a rigid, dimensionally stable sheet suitable for precision components.

Supplied in thin sheet formats such as 1 mm, it is ideal for shims, insulation barriers and lightweight mechanical parts where a balance of strength, stiffness and wear resistance is required. Sheets can be easily machined, drilled and cut to size using standard workshop equipment.
