Vertical Shower Seal - Self-Adhesive 3M VHB Tape, 800-2000mm

What this seal is

A clear vertical shower screen seal with pre-applied 3M VHB (very high bond) double-sided tape. Instead of clipping over the glass edge, it sticks to any flat surface — glass, tiles, frame and more — which means it suits any glass thickness and works in places a push-fit channel seal simply can't reach.

The profile is a neat right-angle: a rigid 8mm upright carrying the VHB tape on its back, and a soft 10mm fin that presses against the neighbouring surface to close the gap. It's most commonly used vertically on the upright of the glass to close the gap to the wall or tiles, works on the bottom horizontal section of a bath screen or shower door, and can be stuck to any other flat surface where you need a seal. It is a straight seal, designed for straight glass only.

Available in 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm lengths. Measure the run you need to seal and pick the nearest length at or above it — the seal is easily cut down to size at home, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Fits where channel seals can't. Because it sticks on rather than pushing over an edge, glass thickness doesn't matter — and you can seal tiles-to-glass junctions and other awkward spots with the same strip.

Genuine 3M VHB tape. The very high bond tape comes pre-applied, so fitting is peel-and-stick — no separate adhesive, no silicone, no mess.

Stops leaks and protects your bathroom. Closing the gap at the edge of your screen keeps water off the floor and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term damage.

Barely visible once fitted. The clear profile blends into the glass for a neat, discreet finish.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the length of the edge or gap you need to seal.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — or add custom cutting and we'll trim it for you.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of soap residue, then peel the red backing off the VHB tape and press the seal firmly into place along its full length.
