Glass-Clear Platinum-Cured Silicone Sheet

Glass-clear platinum-cured silicone sheet for transparent gaskets, protective membranes and flexible interfaces where the surface beneath must remain visible. The material is centrifugally cast from liquid silicone rubber (LSR) to provide high transparency, flexibility and durable tear resistance.

Each option supplies one 200 × 200 mm sheet. Select the required thickness for the available clearance, flexibility and compression in the finished assembly.

Choosing a thickness

Use the thinnest sheet only where a low-profile, highly flexible interface is appropriate. A thicker option provides more material for compression and handling but requires additional assembly clearance. Check the mating faces, fastener arrangement, required compression and movement before selecting a thickness.

Cutting and fabrication

Use a clean, sharp cutting tool and support the sheet on a flat sacrificial surface. Avoid stretching the material while marking or cutting, as this can alter the finished dimensions. Dry-fit the component before final assembly and check that edges, holes and fasteners do not introduce local tearing.

Clarity and service conditions

Visual transparency in the completed assembly depends on thickness, surface contact, lighting, contamination and the finish of adjacent components. No optical-grade tolerance is claimed. Confirm chemical, temperature, moisture and cleaning compatibility for the intended environment before use.

Quantity 1 supplies one glass-clear silicone sheet in the selected thickness and fixed 200 × 200 mm size. Finished gaskets, housings, adhesives and cutting tools are not included. Product imagery is illustrative; use the selectors for the exact supplied thickness.
