High-Recovery Silicone Sponge Sheet

A resilient silicone rubber sponge sheet with a fine fabric-textured finish on both faces. Its predominantly closed-cell construction and release characteristics make it suitable for textile heat-press interfaces and other applications where an even, compliant contact layer and a neat textured surface are required.

Typical applications

The fabric-textured faces and release-oriented surface are particularly suited to T-shirt and textile heat-press work. The sheet can also be considered for non-critical cushioning, contact or presentation surfaces where its texture and recovery behaviour match the equipment and process.

Selecting a thickness

Choose a thickness that provides the required compliance without excessive movement or compression. Thinner sheets give a lower-profile interface; thicker sheets provide more material for accommodating uneven contact. Confirm platen clearance, pressure settings and finished transfer quality with the actual press, fabric and transfer system before production use.

Cutting and installation

Measure the working area before cutting. Use a sharp straight-edge tool on a protected surface and keep the sheet flat and unstretched. Position it so that pressure is distributed evenly across the working area, then run a controlled test cycle before normal production.
