PET rod is a rigid, dimensionally stable engineering plastic offering excellent wear resistance and low moisture absorption. It provides a good balance of strength, stiffness and machinability, making it a reliable alternative to metals in precision components.

Available in larger diameters such as 100mm and 125mm in 1000mm lengths, PET rod machines cleanly to tight tolerances and maintains its properties across a wide temperature range. It is ideal for food-contact applications when produced in compliant grades, as well as general engineering uses where long-term dimensional stability is essential.
