Yellow Line Marking Paint for Walkways & Car Parks

Oil-based yellow line-marking paint for defining pedestrian routes, parking bays, equipment areas and other designated zones on compatible, correctly prepared floors. The Construction Yellow variants provide a clearly visible marking colour for indoor and outdoor layouts.

Surface compatibility

Do not assume that every blacktop or smooth concrete floor is suitable. The supplier specifically excludes asphalt and power-floated floors. Confirm the substrate construction and test adhesion before full application, particularly on previously coated, sealed or highly polished surfaces.

Preparation and application

• Remove dust, loose material, oil, grease and other contamination.
• Allow new concrete to mature fully and use the appropriate sealer or primer where required.
• Mark the layout with a guide, stencil or masking suitable for the intended line width.
• Apply evenly by brush or roller and avoid cold, damp conditions.
• Keep traffic off the marking until the coating has dried and cured sufficiently for the site conditions.

Coverage planning

The stated 6–8 m² per litre is painted-area coverage, not a guaranteed line length. As a theoretical guide, that equals about 60–80 linear metres of a 100 mm-wide line per litre before allowing for surface texture, porosity, overlap and application losses.

Storage and safety

Keep the container securely closed and store away from ignition sources. Follow the current label and safety data for ventilation, personal protective equipment, thinning, cleaning and disposal.
