Bifold Shower Screen Seal - 5mm T-Head - White or Clear

What this seal is

A soft-PVC channel seal for bifold shower doors, bath screens and framed shower doors, available in white or clear. The 5mm T-shaped head slides into the narrow channel in your door's bottom rail or vertical upright — no adhesive, no tools — and the flexible 8mm tapered blade closes gaps of 5mm to 10mm against the tray, bath rim or wall.

If your old seal's spine sat inside a slot in the frame rather than pushing over a raised ridge, a channel seal like this is what you need. Old seal out, new seal in — it really is that simple.

Measure the channel length in millimetres and round up — the soft PVC trims cleanly with ordinary scissors.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks under the door. A hardened or split bottom seal is the usual reason water creeps past a bifold door or bath screen. A fresh blade seals the gap and protects your floor.

No adhesive, no mess. The T-head grips the channel by itself — a small dab of silicone at each end is optional insurance on well-worn channels, nothing more.

Pick the colour that disappears. White looks crisp against white frames and hides limescale; clear vanishes against the glass on frameless or chrome-framed screens.

Two seals from one length. One 2000mm length cut in half covers two standard bottom rails — and it also covers a full-height upright, as most shower uprights are 1850–1950mm.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check the channel is around 5mm wide, the gap to seal is 5–10mm, and note the channel length in millimetres.

2. Choose. Pick white or clear and the 1000mm or 2000mm length — or add custom cutting and it arrives ready to fit.

3. Fit. Slide the old seal out, clean soap scum and limescale from the channel, then feed the 5mm T-head into the open end and work it along until seated. Usually no need to remove the door — if the channel end is blocked, lift the door off its rollers first.
