What this seal is
Our tallest 5mm T-head bifold seal: a clear soft-PVC profile standing 24mm from the top of the T-head to the tip of the tail, made for doors sitting well clear of the tray with gaps of 19mm to 24mm. The T-head slides into a standard 5mm channel, and below it the body flares into a wedge before drawing down into a long slim tail that reaches the tray and folds against it.
Fit it horizontally under the bottom rail of a folding bath screen or shower door. If your gap is under 19mm, one of our standard-height 5mm T-head seals will suit better — this one will buckle rather than seal.
Will it fit my door?
Check the channel. The T-head is 5mm wide and 1.5mm thick on a 1.5mm neck. It fits a 5mm channel, and often one slightly narrower, because the soft PVC compresses going in.
Measure the gap, closed. With the door shut, measure from the underside of the bottom rail down to the tray. Between 19mm and 24mm is this seal. The profile hangs 21mm below the T-head, so it has the reach to make contact and still flex.
Check clearance either side. The wedge is 7.5mm across at its widest, just under the channel. If your rail has a lip or return within 4mm of the channel slot, the wedge may foul it.

Why fit this seal
Closes gaps ordinary seals cannot reach. A door sitting 19–24mm above the tray leaks straight past a standard blade. The 21mm drop on this profile is built for exactly that gap.
Wedge above, tail below. The wedge holds the seal steady in the channel so it does not twist, while the slim 13mm tail stays flexible enough to fold flat against the tray and sweep as the door moves.
Protects the floor, not just the tray. An open gap that size puts water onto flooring, skirting and plaster every single shower. This is the cheapest repair in the bathroom.
No adhesive, no residue. The T-head grips the existing channel on its own and pulls out cleanly when it is next replaced.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check the channel takes a 5mm T-head, and measure the closed-door gap to the tray — it needs to fall between 19mm and 24mm.
2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm at or above your door width, or add our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.
3. Fit. Slide the old seal out and wipe the channel clean. Cut the new seal to the door width with scissors, then feed the T-head in at one end and slide it along until it sits end to end.
