Shower Door Brush Seal 7mm x 10mm for Bifold & Channel Doors

What this seal is

A brush seal for bifold and channel shower doors, with a 7mm T backing and a 10mm bristle pile. The rigid backing strip slides into the door's channel — no adhesive needed — and the dense synthetic bristles close the gap beneath or beside the door.

It's a particularly good choice when the door rides high over the tray: the long bristles bridge the gap and flex over tray lips, keeping the fold action light where a tall rubber blade would drag.

How to check it fits your door

Your channel slot needs to take the 7mm backing, and the gap to close should be around 10mm. Other pile depths — 6mm, 8mm and 12mm — are stocked on the same backing, so if your gap is different there's a matching brush. If your gap sits between sizes, the flexible bristles are forgiving — and we can always confirm from a photo of your old seal.

Why fit this seal

Closes the gap without drag. Bristles flex where a solid blade catches, so bifold doors keep folding smoothly while the brush still blocks the gap and the water stays in.

Copes with uneven surfaces. The pile rides over tray lips and slight steps that would defeat a rigid seal, keeping contact along the whole run.

No adhesive, no mess. The T backing simply slides into the existing channel — nothing to glue or drill, and the old seal comes out the same way.

Cut to fit at home. Order 1000mm or 2000mm and trim the backing to your door's exact width for a neat end-to-end fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your channel takes a 7mm backing, measure the gap (around 10mm suits this pile) and measure your door's width.

2. Choose. Pick 1000mm or 2000mm — whichever is at or above your door width — or a different pile depth if your gap needs it.

3. Fit. Slide the old seal out and clean the channel, cut the backing to your door's width, then feed the T backing in at one end and slide it across until seated.
