What this seal is
A pair of chrome magnetic seals for enclosures with 8–10mm glass. Each rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive, and the magnetic strip — covered in white plastic — pulls the door closed and holds it shut while you shower, yet still opens easily when you have finished.
These seals fit vertically and are usually found on quadrant enclosures, although some bath screens and other doors use them too. They can close at either 135° or 180°. On sliding doors they suit a gap of up to 25mm when closed; on hinged or pivoting doors the gap needs to be exactly 25mm so the two magnetic strips line up properly.

Why fit this seal
Holds the door firmly shut. Tired magnets let the door drift open mid-shower and water escape onto the floor. A fresh magnetic pair pulls the door closed and keeps it closed until you open it.
No adhesive, no mess. Each U-section grips 8–10mm glass on its own — the seals push straight on and come off again without leaving residue.
Smart chrome finish. The chrome profile suits chrome-framed enclosures, with the magnetic strip covered in white plastic where the two halves meet.

Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick, note whether your door closes at 135° or 180°, and measure the gap when closed — up to 25mm for sliding doors, exactly 25mm for hinged or pivoting doors.
2. Choose. The pair comes in 2000mm lengths — cut down at home, or use our custom cutting service.
3. Fit. Remove the old seals, trim the new pair to height, then push each U-section onto its glass edge from one end and work your way along, so the magnetic strips line up when the door closes. Never slide a seal along the glass — this can damage it.
