Thin, hard-wearing PVC sheet matting with a small raised dot, for covering large floor areas in workshops, stores, corridors and light-industrial spaces.
This is a 1.6mm flexible PVC floor covering supplied in 25m rolls, 0.98m wide, so one roll covers 24.5 m². The small dot pattern gives good grip underfoot and resists chemicals, oils and acids. It is also low enough that trolleys, wheelchairs and roll cages run over it without snagging.
Because it is so thin, it lies flat, follows the subfloor and cuts to size on site with a sharp knife. It's a quick way to put a clean, slip-resistant, easy-mop surface over tired concrete, a workshop floor or a stockroom. Choose from black, dark grey, blue or red. There is also a recycled black option: the same mat made from 100% reprocessed factory waste, at a lower price.

WHEEL-FRIENDLY
The small, low dot suits small-wheeled traffic such as sack trucks, trolleys, wheelchairs and roll cages. It is only 1.6mm high, so there is almost no step at the edge.
EASY TO KEEP CLEAN
The surface is non-porous PVC. Vacuum or mop it, with no special tools needed. Oil and most chemicals wipe off without staining.

INSTALLATION
Sweep the floor clean and dry. Unroll the matting and let it relax flat at room temperature, ideally overnight. Then trim it to size with a sharp knife against a straight edge. Loose-laying suits most areas. On busy trolley routes, or where you want a permanent floor, bond it down with a suitable flooring adhesive or double-sided tape.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Vacuum or sweep to remove grit. Mop with warm water and a neutral or mild alkaline cleaner, then let it dry. No special cleaning tools are needed.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will trolleys and wheelchairs run over it?
Yes. The small, low dot is designed for small-wheeled traffic, and at 1.6mm there is almost no lip at the edge.
Will it take a forklift or pallet truck?
A hand pallet truck is fine. It isn't designed for powered forklift traffic, which will wear it and move it quickly. For heavy vehicle routes, ask us about thicker matting.
Does it need gluing down?
Usually not, because it lies flat and follows the floor. Glue or tape it where wheels turn tightly or where it crosses a busy route.
Can I cut it myself?
Yes, with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. Let it relax flat before you cut, and allow up to 2% for shrinkage.
Is it oil and chemical resistant?
It resists most acids, alkalis and oils, which makes it a good fit for workshops and garages. Ask us to check a specific chemical.
What is the difference between Black and Black – Recycled?
They are the same 1.6mm dot mat. The recycled version is made from 100% reprocessed factory waste, comes in black only and costs less. The standard mat comes in four colours.
Is it suitable for wet areas or bare feet?
It isn't a drainage mat, so water sits on top. For showers, pool surrounds and other barefoot areas, choose ribbed barefoot matting. For wet workplaces, choose open grid matting.
Is there a thicker version?
Yes. A 2.5mm heavy-duty version with a raised button pattern is available for higher-footfall areas. Ask us for a price.
