What this roller is

A replacement lower wheel for sliding shower doors, supplied as 1 x lower shower door roller complete with screw cover caps. The easy-glide wheel gets a sticking, dragging door running smoothly again, and the swivel action means it fits curved and quadrant doors as well as straight sliders.

It suits doors with 5–6mm glass and a fixing hole of 10–13mm drilled with its centre 18mm from the edge of the glass, and is available with a 20mm, 23mm or 25mm diameter wheel.

Measure your old wheel across its widest point and order the matching diameter — 20mm, 23mm or 25mm. If the old wheel is too worn or damaged to measure, email us a photo and we will help you match it.

Why fit this roller

Smooth-running door again. A worn lower wheel makes a sliding door drag, stick and jump off its track — a new easy-glide roller restores that effortless slide in minutes.

Protects your enclosure. Forcing a door along on seized rollers strains the track, the frame and the glass itself. Replacing a tired wheel is far cheaper than replacing a door.

Fits curved doors too. The swivel action lets the wheel follow the track on curved and quadrant enclosures, so one roller covers most door shapes.

Fitting

1. Measure. Check the wheel diameter (20mm, 23mm or 25mm), your glass thickness (5–6mm), the hole diameter (10–13mm) and that the hole centre sits 18mm from the edge of the glass.

2. Choose. Order the wheel size that matches your old roller.

3. Fit. Lift the door to take the weight off the roller, unscrew the old wheel, screw the new one on and clip the screw cover cap in place.
