Chrome Twin Wheel Lower Shower Door Roller - 8-11mm Hole, 17mm Centres - 20/23/25mm
What this roller is
A complete replacement lower roller assembly for sliding shower doors — not a bare wheel. Each unit is a polished chrome bracket with a glass clamp, an adjuster pin, two easy-glide wheels and screw cover caps, supplied as one assembly. The swivel action lets the wheels follow curved and quadrant door tracks as well as straight runs, and gets a sticking, scraping or dropping door rolling smoothly again.
It suits doors with 5–6mm glass and a fixing hole of 8–11mm diameter, drilled with its centre 17mm from the edge of the glass. The wheels come in three diameters — 20mm, 23mm or 25mm — so you can match your existing roller exactly.
Chrome or grey? Check before you order
We stock two twin wheel lower rollers. The quickest way to tell them apart is the finish, but the fixing dimensions differ too — so measure as well as look:
- This roller — polished chrome body. Fixing hole 8–11mm, hole centre 17mm from the glass edge, wheel sits 18mm from the front of the glass.
- The alternative — grey plastic body. Fixing hole 10–13mm, hole centre 18mm from the edge, wheel 19mm from the front — see our grey twin wheel roller.
If your hole measures 10mm or 11mm it falls inside both ranges. In that case the deciding measurement is the distance from the hole centre to the glass edge: 17mm for this one, 18mm for the grey.
Choose your wheel size
Measure your old wheel across its diameter and pick the matching size — 20mm, 23mm or 25mm. All three share the same 6mm wheel thickness and the same 18mm setback from the front of the glass, so the diameter is the only choice you need to make. A badly worn wheel can measure slightly under its original size, so pick the nearest listed diameter.

Why fit this roller
Gets your door gliding again. A worn or seized lower roller makes a sliding door drag, jump or drop off its track. A new easy-glide assembly restores smooth, quiet movement in minutes.
Fits curved and straight doors. The swivel action lets the wheels align themselves with the track, so it works on quadrant and curved enclosures as well as straight sliders.
Three sizes, one simple choice. With 20mm, 23mm and 25mm wheels available, matching your old roller's diameter is all it takes.
UK stock, fast dispatch. Held in UK stock and dispatched same day when you order before 2pm.
Fitting
1. Measure. Check your glass is 5–6mm thick, the hole in the glass is 8–11mm in diameter with its centre 17mm from the edge, and measure your old wheel's diameter. The measurement drawing in the images above shows where each one is taken.
2. Choose. Pick the matching wheel size — 20mm, 23mm or 25mm.
3. Fit. Remove the old roller, bolt the new assembly through the existing hole in the glass, then snap on the screw cover caps.
