What this seal is
A clear magnetic closing seal for shower doors with 10–12mm glass, supplied as a pair in 2000mm lengths. Each seal is a high-quality rigid PVC U-section that simply pushes onto the closing edge of the glass and grips 10mm, 11mm or 12mm glass comfortably — no additional adhesive needed. Inside each seal sits a plastic-covered magnetic strip: the two strips pull together to hold the door firmly shut while you shower, yet part easily when you open the door.
These seals are normally fitted vertically and are most often found on quadrant enclosures, though some bath screens and other doors use them too. They can be used at either 135° or 180°, as shown in the main product image, so they suit both angled and in-line closing edges.

Why fit this seal
Keeps the door closed and the water in. Tired or missing magnetic strips let the door drift open mid-shower, sending water onto the bathroom floor. A fresh pair snaps the door shut every time and protects flooring and skirting from water damage.
No adhesive, no mess. The rigid U-section grips 10–12mm glass on its own — it slides straight onto the closing edge and can be removed again without leaving residue on the glass.
Made for thick frameless glass. Most magnetic seals stop at 8mm glass; this pair is sized for the 10–12mm panels used on heavyweight frameless enclosures.
Cut to fit at home. Each 2000mm length trims down easily for a perfect fit — or use our custom cutting service and the pair arrives ready to fit.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check your glass is 10–12mm thick, measure the height of each closing edge, and check the gap between the doors — up to 20mm for sliding doors, exactly 20mm for hinged or pivoting doors so the magnets line up.
2. Choose. The pair comes in 2000mm lengths — order as supplied and trim down, or add the custom cutting service.
3. Fit. Push a U-section onto each closing edge so the two magnetic strips face each other, then close the door to check the magnets meet squarely. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
