Magnetic Shower Screen Seal - Fits 4-6mm Glass - 1 Pair - Length of 2000mm

What this seal is

A pair of clear magnetic channel seals for enclosures with 4–6mm glass. Each rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive required — and carries a magnetic strip encased in white plastic to match the rest of your enclosure. The magnets pull together to hold the door firmly shut while you shower, yet still open easily once you're finished.

These seals are normally fitted vertically, usually on quadrant enclosures, although some bath screens and other doors use them too. They can be used at either 135° or 180°, as shown in the main product image.

Will it suit my door?

On sliding doors, this pair is suitable as long as the gap is no greater than 30mm when the doors are closed. On hinged or pivoting doors the gap needs to be exactly 30mm — otherwise the two magnetic strips will not quite line up and the seals may not close as intended.

Why fit this seal

Holds the door shut and keeps water in. Tired magnets or perished strips let the door drift open mid-shower — a fresh pair closes the gap positively every time and stops water escaping onto the floor.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-sections grip 4–6mm glass on their own — they push straight onto the door edges and come off again without leaving residue.

Blends in with your enclosure. The clear PVC and white-covered magnet match most white and light-framed enclosures, so the new seals disappear once fitted.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the door height, and check the closed gap — up to 30mm for sliding doors, exactly 30mm for hinged or pivoting doors.

2. Choose. Cut the 2000mm lengths down to your door height, or use our custom cutting service and they arrive ready to fit.

3. Fit. Push one channel onto each glass edge with the magnetic faces towards each other, then close the door to check the strips meet cleanly along their full height.
