What this seal is
A pair of clear magnetic shower door seals for 8mm glass. Each seal is a rigid clear-PVC U-channel — with an 8mm mouth about 14mm deep — that pushes onto the edge of the glass with no adhesive. A soft flexible web connects the channel to the built-in magnetic strip, covered in white plastic to match your enclosure. The magnets pull the door closed and hold it shut while you shower, yet release easily when you are finished.
These seals are fitted vertically, most often on quadrant enclosures, though many bath screens and other doors use them too. Because each magnet housing sits on a flexible hinge, the pair works at either 135° or 180° — angled around a corner or flat across a straight opening.
Which doors do they suit?
On sliding doors, the seals are suitable as long as the gap between the closing edges is no greater than 27mm when the doors are closed. On hinged or pivoting doors, the gap needs to be exactly 27mm — otherwise the two magnetic strips will not quite line up and the seals may not function as intended.

Why fit these seals
Holds the door properly shut. Worn magnetic seals let the door drift open mid-shower, sending water across the bathroom floor — a fresh pair snaps the door closed and keeps it there.
Still easy to open. The magnets are strong enough to hold the door shut while you shower, but release with a gentle pull when you are finished.
No adhesive, no mess. Each seal grips 8mm glass on its own — it pushes straight on with nothing to glue, cure or clean up.
Matched pair, matched finish. Sold as a complete pair, with clear PVC and a white-covered magnetic strip that blends in with your enclosure.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check your glass is 8mm thick, measure the height of the closing edges, and check the gap between them — up to 27mm for sliding doors, exactly 27mm for hinged doors.
2. Choose. The pair comes in a 2000mm length — trim down to your door height at home, or add custom cutting and they arrive ready to fit.
3. Fit. Push each seal onto its glass edge from one end and work your way along, pushing the seal on as you go, so the magnetic strips face each other. Never slide a seal along the glass — this can damage it. Close the door to check the magnets meet squarely along their full height.
