Description
PTFE tube offers outstanding chemical resistance, an exceptionally low coefficient of friction and excellent thermal stability, making it ideal for demanding sealing, bearing and fluid handling applications. It maintains its properties over a wide temperature range and is inherently non-stick, helping to minimise build-up and ease cleaning.
Commonly specified where aggressive chemicals, high temperatures or low friction are critical, PTFE tube is widely used in laboratory equipment, process plant, food and pharmaceutical lines, and electrical insulation. Supplied in standard lengths and diameters such as 38 mm outer diameter with 17 mm inner diameter at 2000 mm long, it can be machined or cut to suit your application.
- Exceptional chemical resistance to most solvents, acids and alkalis
- Very low coefficient of friction and non-stick surface
- Wide continuous service temperature range and good thermal stability
- Excellent electrical insulating properties and dielectric strength
- Low moisture absorption and good weathering resistance
- Suitable for seals, bushings, linings, fluid transfer and insulation sleeves
