What this roller is

A replacement roller wheel for sliding shower doors with 6–8mm glass. Worn or seized rollers make a door grind, stick or drop out of line — swapping them for new easy-glide wheels restores smooth, quiet running for a fraction of the cost of a new enclosure.

The wheel screws through the existing 12–14mm hole in the glass and comes with screw cover caps for a neat finish. It is a non-swivelling wheel, but as a single wheel it is suitable for some curved and quadrant doors.

Choose the right wheel size

Measure your old wheel across its widest point and match it to one of the four diameters available: 19mm, 23mm, 25mm or 27mm. Also check that the hole in your glass measures 12–14mm across and that your glass is 6–8mm thick. If your old wheel measures between two sizes, send us a photo and we'll confirm the right one before you order.

Fitting

1. Measure. Note your old wheel's diameter, check your glass is 6–8mm thick and confirm the hole in the glass is 12–14mm across.

2. Choose. Pick the matching wheel size — 19mm, 23mm, 25mm or 27mm.

3. Fit. Unscrew the old roller, fix the new wheel through the existing hole in the glass, fit the screw cover cap and rehang the door on its track.
