Shower Screen Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Seals 6-11mm Gaps

What this seal is

A clear seal for shower and bath screens with 4mm, 5mm or 6mm glass, closing gaps of 6mm to 11mm. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass and grips comfortably with no additional adhesive, while the blade spans the gap to keep water inside the shower.

It is most often fitted horizontally along the bottom of a bath screen or shower door, and can also be used vertically on the upright edge of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall.

Available in 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm and 2000mm lengths. Pick the length at or above the edge you are sealing and cut it down at home, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks at the base of the screen. A worn or missing bottom seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower — replacing it protects flooring, skirting and plaster.

No adhesive, no mess. The rigid U-channel grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and comes off without leaving residue.

Works horizontally or vertically. The same profile seals under the bottom of the door or up the side of the glass against tiles or a wall — and the clear PVC is barely visible once fitted.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it for an exact fit, or let us cut it for you.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick and confirm the gap you need to close is between 6mm and 11mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your edge measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-channel onto the edge of the glass with the blade facing the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
