Shower Screen Seal - 6-8mm Glass, Rigid Side Fin, 800-2000mm

What this seal is

A clear seal for shower doors and bath screens with 6–8mm glass, featuring a single rigid side fin. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive needed — and the fin bridges across to the adjacent surface to keep water inside the enclosure.

It is most often used vertically on the upright edge of the glass, sealing against the wall, tiles or an adjacent panel. It can also be fitted along the bottom horizontal section of a bath screen or shower door where there is no gap beneath the glass.

Why fit this seal

Stops splashes at the screen edge. A missing or discoloured vertical seal lets water escape between the glass and the wall — replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring and skirting from water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 6–8mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed again without leaving residue, and the clear PVC is barely visible once fitted.

Neat where there's no gap. The rigid side fin gives a clean deflector along a bottom edge that sits directly on the tray or bath, where a hanging flexible fin isn't needed.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6–8mm thick and measure the length of the edge you need to seal.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm — or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the rigid fin faces the surface you're sealing against. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
