Shower Screen Seal - 6-8mm Glass, Rigid 15mm Arched Fin

What this seal is

A clear threshold seal for shower doors with 6–8mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the bottom edge of the glass and grips comfortably on its own — no adhesive needed — while the rigid arched fin underneath deflects water back into the enclosure.

The arched profile is the one to choose when there’s either a very small gap under the door or a threshold that the door passes over as it opens and closes — the rigid arch rides over the threshold where a soft drag-fin would catch. Designed for straight glass only.

Why fit this seal

Stops drips at the door bottom. A missing or worn bottom seal lets water run off the glass and straight onto the floor. The arched fin catches it and directs it back into the tray.

Glides over thresholds. Because the arch is rigid rather than a soft trailing blade, it clears a raised threshold as the door swings, without folding, catching or wearing through.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 6–8mm glass on its own — it slides straight onto the edge and comes off again without leaving residue.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a neat edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6–8mm thick and measure the width of the door’s bottom edge. Note whether the door passes over a threshold.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the bottom edge of the glass with the arched fin facing down. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
