Black Shower Screen Seal - 8-10mm Glass, Seals 15-20mm Gaps

What this seal is

A black replacement seal for shower doors and bath screens with 8–10mm glass. The high-quality rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass and grips 8mm, 9mm or 10mm glass comfortably with no need for any additional adhesive, closing gaps of 15mm to 20mm — stopping water escaping every time you shower.

You'll most often find this seal on the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door, but it works just as well fitted vertically on the upright of the glass to seal against the tiles or wall. It is designed for straight glass only — though if yours is curved, we can help with that too (see below).

Choose your length

Measure the edge of glass you need to seal, then pick the nearest length at or above it — 800mm, 900mm, 1400mm, 2000mm or 2500mm — and trim it down at home for a neat edge-to-edge fit. A custom cutting service is also available if you'd rather it arrived ready to fit.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks instantly. A worn, split or missing seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.

Suits black-framed enclosures. The black finish sits neatly with today's matt-black and industrial-style bathroom hardware instead of standing out against it.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue on the glass.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick, measure the length of the edge you're sealing, and measure the gap you need to close — this seal covers 15mm to 20mm.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement from the five available.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass so the seal closes the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
