Shower Support Bar - Fits Glass Thickness of 6mm
What this support bar is
An adjustable telescopic support bar that holds and stabilises a shower screen, shower door or wet-room panel with 6mm glass. The round stainless-steel bar runs from the wall to the top of the glass and clamps over the panel using the provided spacers — no holes need drilling in the glass.
Because the bar is telescopic, there’s no tricky cutting and you always get a smooth, finished look: it adjusts to span any gap from 700mm to 1200mm and locks at the right length with grub screws.
Which angle do I need?
The swivelling ends lock in place, so one bar covers three layouts: straight off the wall with the glass at 90° to the wall (image 4), across a corner at 45° (image 5), or in line at 180° (image 6). Check which arrangement matches your screen before fitting.

Why fit this support bar
Steadies a wobbly screen. A fixed panel that flexes when knocked is unnerving and hard on its hinges and seals. Bracing the top edge back to the wall makes the whole screen feel solid.
No drilling into the glass. The clamp grips over the panel with protective spacers, so there’s no risk to the glass and nothing irreversible about the installation.
Telescopic — no cutting. Adjust anywhere between 700mm and 1200mm and lock it off. No hacksaw, no rough ends, always a clean finish.
Matches your bathroom. Polished chrome over stainless steel sits neatly alongside standard chrome bathroom fittings.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Measure between the wall and the glass, and check your panel is 6mm thick and the span falls between 700mm and 1200mm.
2. Adjust. Extend the telescopic bar to the correct size, set the swivelling ends to 90°, 45° or 180° to suit your layout, and lock with the grub screws.
3. Fix. Attach the flat end to the wall, insert the panel into the clip using the provided spacers to protect the glass, and tighten the screws to secure.
