Shower Support Bar - Fits Glass Thickness of 8mm
What this support bar is
An adjustable telescopic support bar that holds and stabilises a shower screen, door or wet-room panel with 8mm glass. The bar clamps over the top of the glass using the spacers provided — there's no need to drill any holes in the glass — while the flat end fixes to the wall, bracing the panel firmly in place.
Because the bar is telescopic, spanning any wall-to-glass distance from 700mm to 1200mm, there's no tricky cutting: adjust it to length and lock it in place with the grub screws for a smooth, finished look. The swivelling ends lock in position, so it can run straight off the wall at 90 degrees to the glass, across a corner at 45 degrees, or flat along the glass at 180 degrees.

Why fit this support bar
Steadies a moving panel. A tall fixed panel that flexes or wobbles is unnerving and hard on its hinges and seals. Bracing it back to the wall makes the whole enclosure feel solid.
No drilling into glass. The clamp grips over the edge of the 8mm panel with protective spacers, so there's no risk to your glass and nothing to align with factory holes.
Telescopic, so it always fits. Anywhere from 700mm to 1200mm, the bar adjusts to your exact span and locks — no cutting, no rough ends, always a neat finish.
Matches your bathroom. Stainless steel with a polished chrome finish sits comfortably alongside standard shower fittings.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check your glass is 8mm thick and measure between the wall and the glass — anywhere from 700mm to 1200mm is covered.
2. Adjust. Extend the telescopic bar to the correct length and lock it with the grub screws, setting the swivel ends to 90, 45 or 180 degrees to suit your layout.
3. Fit. Attach the flat end to the wall, sit the glass in the clamp with the provided spacers protecting the panel, and tighten the screws to secure. All fixings are included.
