What this support bar is

An adjustable telescopic support bar that holds and stabilises a shower screen, door or wet room panel. It clamps over the glass using the spacers provided — no drilling into the glass — and braces the panel against a second fixed panel, taking the wobble out of frameless glass.

Because the bar is telescopic, spanning any gap from 700mm to 1200mm, there is no tricky cutting involved: extend it to the exact distance between your panels and lock it in place with the grub screws for a smooth, finished look every time.

Why fit this support bar

Stabilises wobbly glass. A fixed panel that flexes every time it's touched is unnerving and hard on its fittings — bracing it between two panels adds rigidity without altering the glass.

No drilling into the glass. The clips clamp over the panel with protective spacers, so there are no holes to cut and no risk to a toughened pane.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the distance between the two glass panels you want to brace — anywhere from 700mm to 1200mm is covered.

2. Adjust. Extend the telescopic bar to that distance and set the swivelling ends to the angle you need.

3. Fit. Insert the panels into the clips with the provided spacers protecting the glass, tighten the screws to secure, and lock the bar's length with the grub screws.
