What this support bar is

A telescopic support bar that holds and stabilises a shower screen, shower door or wet-room glass panel. Rather than drilling holes in the glass, the arm simply clamps over the panel using the spacers provided, bracing the glass so it stays rigid and secure.

Because the bar is telescopic there is no tricky cutting and no risk of an untidy edge — adjust it to the exact span you need and lock it in place with the grub screws for a smooth, finished look. It spans any gap from 700mm up to 1200mm.

Why fit this support bar

Steadies the glass. Tall or heavy panels can flex and wobble in use; a support bar adds the extra bracing that keeps a screen or wet-room panel solid and safe.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Measure the distance between the two fixed glass panels — anywhere from 700mm to 1200mm is covered.

2. Adjust. Extend the telescopic bar to the measured span and lock it at that length using the grub screws.

3. Fit. Insert the panels into the clips with the provided spacers protecting the glass, then tighten the screws to secure. Done.
