Tapered Shower Seal - 6-8mm Glass, Fin 25mm to 15mm, 900mm

What this seal is

A clear tapered shower screen seal for 6–8mm glass, made for the awkward, uneven gap left when the bath or tray is not quite level with the glass. The rigid PVC U-channel simply pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive needed — and the soft flexible fin below tapers in height from 25mm at one end to 15mm at the other, following the slope of your gap.

Fit it along the bottom edge of the screen with the deeper end of the fin over the wider end of the gap, and the fin closes the whole run evenly — something a straight-finned seal simply cannot do.

Which tapered seal do I need?

Measure the gap at both ends of the glass. In most cases we recommend using a seal with a fin between 2–5mm bigger than the gap you need to seal — the flexible fin compresses for a tighter finish. Our tapered seals come in a number of different sizes to accommodate any size of gap, so if 25mm-to-15mm is not quite right, ask us about the other sizes.

Why fit this seal

Seals uneven gaps properly. A straight seal on a sloping gap leaves one end leaking — the tapered fin closes the gap along its whole length, protecting your floor from escaping water.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-channel grips 6–8mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed without residue.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6–8mm thick, measure the width of the screen, and measure the gap at both ends.

2. Choose. Pick the tapered size with a fin 2–5mm bigger than your gap — this one covers a run from 25mm down to 15mm.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the bottom edge of the glass with the deeper end of the fin over the wider end of the gap. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
