Vertical Shower Seal - 8-10mm Glass, Fins 8mm to 35mm
Brand: Industrial Polymers UK
What this seal is
A clear vertical fin seal for frameless shower screens and doors with 8–10mm glass. The rigid PVC channel simply pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive, no screws, no drilling — and the flexible clear fin closes the gap between your door and the adjacent wall, tiles or fixed panel, stopping water escaping every time you shower.
Because the fin is available in five depths, one profile covers gaps from just 3mm right up to 35mm. It fits vertically on the upright edge of the glass, and works just as well horizontally along the bottom edge of a bath screen or shower door.
Choose the right fin depth
Measure the gap you need to close, then pick the fin depth that covers it:
| Fin depth | Seals gaps of |
|---|---|
| 8mm | 3mm to 8mm |
| 15mm | 10mm to 15mm |
| 20mm | 15mm to 20mm |
| 25mm | 20mm to 25mm |
| 35mm | 30mm to 35mm |
If your gap sits between two fin sizes, choose the larger fin — the flexible blade compresses to fit and gives a tighter seal.

Why fit this seal
Stops leaks instantly. A worn, discoloured or missing vertical seal is the most common cause of water pooling outside the shower. Replacing it takes minutes and protects flooring, skirting and plaster from long-term water damage.
No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue on the glass.
One profile, five fin sizes. Whether your door sits 3mm or 35mm from the wall or fixed panel, the same clip-on channel with the right fin depth closes the gap neatly — and the clear PVC is barely visible once fitted.
Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect edge-to-edge fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.
Fitting in three steps
1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick, measure the height of the door edge, and measure the gap you need to close.
2. Choose. Pick the fin depth that covers your gap from the table above, and the nearest length at or above your door-edge height.
3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the fin faces the wall or fixed panel. Done — no tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
