Vertical Shower Seal - 8-10mm Glass, Rigid Fin, 900-2000mm

What this seal is

A clear vertical seal for frameless shower screens and doors with 8–10mm glass. The rigid PVC U-section pushes onto the edge of the glass — no adhesive needed — and a rigid fin closes the gap between the glass and the wall or adjacent panel.

Because the fin is rigid, this seal is normally fitted vertically on the upright edge of the glass. It can also be used horizontally, but only where the gap is 5mm tall — the fin will not flex to suit anything larger.

Why fit this seal

Stops water escaping at the side of the screen. A missing or yellowed vertical seal lets water track down the gap between glass and wall onto your floor. A fresh seal closes it neatly and protects flooring and plaster.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 8–10mm glass on its own — it pushes straight on and can be removed again without leaving residue on the glass.

Neat, rigid finish. The rigid fin holds a clean straight line down the full height of the panel, and the clear PVC is barely noticeable once fitted.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 8–10mm thick and measure the height of the panel edge. For horizontal use, check the gap is 5mm tall.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above your measurement — 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm — or add custom cutting and we cut it to size before dispatch.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass so the fin faces the wall or panel. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
