Vertical Shower Seal - 4-6mm Glass, Fin Depth 10-15mm

What this seal is

A clear vertical fin seal for shower screens and doors with 4–6mm glass, sealing gaps of 10mm to 15mm. The rigid PVC U-section pushes straight onto the edge of the glass and grips it with no adhesive, while the soft fin — held at the correct 45° angle by a small rigid piece — closes the gap between the glass and the wall, tiles or adjacent panel.

It is commonly used vertically on the upright of the glass, and works just as well along the bottom horizontal edge of a bath screen or shower door.

Choose the right fin depth

The fin is available in six depths — 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm or 15mm — covering gaps from 10mm to 15mm. Measure the gap you need to close and pick the matching fin depth. If your gap sits between two sizes, choose the larger fin — the flexible blade compresses to fit and gives a tighter seal.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks and protects your bathroom. A worn, discoloured or missing fin seal lets water escape past the edge of the glass onto floors and skirting. Replacing it takes minutes and prevents long-term water damage.

No adhesive, no mess. The U-section grips 4–6mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue on the glass.

Angled for a better seal. The small rigid piece holds the fin at a constant 45°, so the blade meets the wall or panel at the right angle along the full length — and the clear PVC is barely visible once fitted.

Cut to fit at home. Order the next length up and trim it down for a perfect fit, or use our custom cutting service and it arrives ready to fit.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 4–6mm thick, measure the height of the glass edge, and measure the gap you need to close.

2. Choose. Pick the fin depth that matches your gap from 10–15mm, and the nearest length at or above your measurement.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the U-section onto the edge of the glass so the fin faces the wall or panel. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
