Vertical Shower Seal - 6-8mm Glass, Rigid Fin, 900-2000mm

What this seal is

A clear vertical seal with a rigid fin for shower doors and screens with 6–8mm glass. The rigid PVC U-channel pushes straight onto the upright edge of the glass with no adhesive at all, and the firm fin closes the gap between the door and the adjacent wall, tiles or fixed panel.

Because the fin is rigid rather than floppy, this profile is normally used vertically — though it can also run horizontally where you have a 5mm-tall gap along the bottom of the screen.

Why fit this seal

Stops leaks at the door edge. A worn or missing vertical seal lets water escape between the door and the wall or fixed panel every shower. Replacing it protects flooring, skirting and plaster.

No adhesive, no mess. The channel grips 6–8mm glass on its own — it slides straight on and can be removed or repositioned without leaving residue.

Rigid fin holds its line. Unlike a soft wipe, the firm fin keeps its shape along the full height of the door for a consistent seal, and the clear PVC is barely visible once fitted.

Fitting in three steps

1. Measure. Check your glass is 6–8mm thick and measure the height of the door edge you're sealing.

2. Choose. Pick the nearest length at or above that height — 900mm, 1400mm or 2000mm — or use our custom cutting service.

3. Fit. Trim to length if needed, then push the channel onto the edge of the glass so the fin faces the wall or fixed panel. No tools, no adhesive, no drying time.
