A tough, low-profile ribbed walk-off mat you lay straight onto the existing floor, with no mat well needed. It scrapes grit off shoes and wheels at the door and holds it there.
This is a 6.5mm solid-back PVC entrance mat supplied in 10m × 1m rolls. The ribbed surface scrapes dirt and grit from shoes and wheels, and the grooves hold it until the mat is cleaned, so it doesn't get walked into the building. The solid back keeps it off the floor underneath. It is certified R11 slip resistant, heel-proof and wheel-proof, and rolls easily under trolleys, buggies and wheelchairs.
It needs no mat well. Lay it loose on top of the existing floor, or bond it down for a permanent surface-mounted mat. It is all-PVC, so it can go inside or outside the door and hoses clean in minutes. Choose black or grey.
NO MAT WELL NEEDED
At 6.5mm with a low profile, it lies straight on the existing floor. There's no cutting a recess into a finished floor.

Laying the mat on top of the floor? Fit ramp edging to every exposed edge so feet and trolleys roll on smoothly. Covering a wide entrance? Join lengths with joining strip. Both are made for this 6.5mm mat: buy ramp edging and joining strip.

INSTALLATION & CLEANING
Unroll it and let it relax flat, then cut it to length with a sharp knife. Lay it loose over the existing floor, or bond it down with a suitable flooring adhesive for a permanent installation. To clean, lift or roll it up, shake out the grit, and hose it down.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a mat well?
No. It lays straight on top of the existing floor. For a recessed installation, choose our 14mm open-grid entrance matting.
Do I need edging?
If the mat is laid on top of the floor, yes: fit ramp edging to every edge people or trolleys cross. If it sits flush in a mat well, no edging is needed.
Will it dry wet shoes?
It scrapes, but it doesn't absorb. If rain on a polished floor is the problem, choose the same mat with absorbent carpet inserts.
Can it go outside?
Yes. It is all-PVC, so it suits covered porches and outside the door as well as inside.
Will trolleys and wheelchairs roll over it?
Yes. It is wheel-proof and heel-proof, with a low profile that is easy to roll onto.
Can I get a single mat cut to size?
