A low-profile walk-off mat with absorbent carpet inserts that you lay straight onto the existing floor, with no mat well needed. It scrapes grit and dries wet shoes before they reach a polished floor.
This is a solid-back PVC entrance mat with strips of absorbent regenerated-nylon carpet set between ribbed scraper profiles. It comes in 10m × 1m rolls. The ribs scrape dirt and grit from shoes and wheels, and the carpet strips soak up water, so wet footprints stop at the mat instead of spreading across the reception floor. It is certified R11 slip resistant, heel-proof and wheel-proof.
It needs no mat well. Lay it loose on top of the existing floor, or bond it down for a permanent surface-mounted mat. Choose a black or grey frame.
DRIES WET SHOES
The absorbent carpet inserts take water off shoes at the door, where most slips on polished floors start.
SCRAPES GRIT TOO
Ribbed PVC profiles between the carpet strips scrape dirt off, and the solid back keeps it off the floor underneath.
NO MAT WELL NEEDED
With its low profile, it lies straight on the existing floor. There's no cutting a recess into a finished floor.

FITTING PARTS
Laying the mat on top of the floor? Fit ramp edging to every exposed edge so feet and trolleys roll on smoothly. Covering a wide entrance? Join lengths with joining strip. Both are made for this mat: buy ramp edging and joining strip.

INSTALLATION & CLEANING
Unroll it and let it relax flat, then cut it to length with a sharp knife. Lay it loose over the existing floor, or bond it down with a suitable flooring adhesive for a permanent installation. Vacuum it regularly. Lift or roll it up to clean underneath and shake out grit.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a mat well?
No. It lays straight on top of the existing floor. For a recessed installation, choose our 16mm carpet-insert entrance matting.
Do I need edging?
If the mat is laid on top of the floor, yes: fit ramp edging to every edge people or trolleys cross.
Can it go outside?
No. The carpet inserts are for inside the door. For outside or covered-porch use, choose the solid ribbed version of this mat, which costs less and hoses clean.
Will trolleys and wheelchairs roll over it?
Yes. It is wheel-proof and heel-proof, with a low profile that is easy to roll onto.
Can I choose the carpet colour?
The standard inserts are charcoal-toned. Other insert colours are available on request. Ask us before you order.
Can I get a single mat cut to size?
Yes. Tell us the size of your entrance and we will price a cut mat.
